NFC

NFC(Near field communications) may not be known by everyone but it's the technology of future. NFC is a set of protocols which enables electronic devices to connect using radio communication with a mere touch of a device or bringing them closer.

Their is very less use of this technology nowadays but it may be the widely used technology in near future. It may be used in many ways to make the life easier; some of the uses have been discussed here.

You can pay using NFC in your smartphone using the google wallet or any other app which supports payment. To make a payment you just have to touch your phone to the NFC payment machine and write your PIN, in case contact less payment terminal is available in the store and then you are all done with your payment.

Many of the digital banks provide the facility of fund transfer with a tap from one smart phone to another. Just enter the amount you want to transfer from the respective digital bank app and just tap and you are all done with your fund transfer. The tap and pay at store may not be available in India for sometime but fund transfer facility is given by many digital banks.

NFC Tags

Now the most creative work which you can do with NFC is to use it with a tag. Now NFC Tag is a small sticker or a key ring fitted with a small chip which contains a very little amount of storage in some Kb's.

These NFC tags can be programmed in such a way that when you tap your phone with a tag some features of your phone get changed. For instance whenever you get inside your car you play your music in car using phones Bluetooth. Now every day you have to turn on your bluetooth and music then you can play. Now let us make it a little bit simpler, what you have to do is to just programme an NFC tag sticker to turn your bluetooth and music and just stick inside your car and you are all done. Now every time you enter your car you have to just tap your phone to the tag and your bluetooth and music will turn on itself. Like this you can use this for many purposes.

Now question arises: How to programme it? Just download any app which can programme NFC Tag and just select features you want and just touch back of your phone to programme it.
